According to Irish ag publication Agriland, Deere & Co. announced earlier today (July 25) that it has signed an agreement to cooperate with Vaderstad to sell its products through John Deere’s distribution channels in Russia and Ukraine.

In the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), John Deere claims to be the “leader in locally-produced, large-scale air seeding and tillage equipment.”

To further boost the “attractiveness of the product range,” John Deere and Vaderstad have agreed to provide combination air seeders as well as compact/high-speed disc seeding and tillage implements through John Deere’s dealer network.

All products will be sold under the Vaderstad trademark and brand name. Last month, Deere announced a similar deal with Kramer, a German manufacturer of wheel loaders and telehandlers. It also acquired Mazzotti, a privately held sprayer company based in Ravenna, Italy.
